Expert Contributor Program

Expert ContributorTerms

Last updated: 10 September 2026

1. What the program is

The Expert Contributor Program lets approved users request that a drug, device or disease be linked to a clinical trial in ClinicaLister, or report that an existing link is wrong. These terms apply in addition to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

2. Applying

To apply you provide a LinkedIn profile URL, your role and organisation, and a short statement of why you want to contribute. We use this only to assess relevant expertise. We link to your profile; we do not copy or store its contents. Applications are reviewed by ClinicaLister staff within 5 business days. We may decline an application without giving a reason, and a declined applicant may apply again after 30 days.

3. Your contributions

Every request you file is reviewed by automated curation systems, and may be checked by a person, before anything changes. A request may be declined. An approved link becomes visible to all ClinicaLister users and is attributed to the program, not to you by name. You confirm that you file requests in good faith, based on evidence you can point to, and that you hold no interest that would make the link misleading.

4. Suspension and revocation

Contributor access is paused automatically after 10 declined requests within 90 days, and any request still pending is closed. ClinicaLister may also suspend or revoke access at its discretion, with a reason shown in your account. Approved links are not removed on revocation unless they are found to be wrong through the ordinary review process.

5. Your data

The LinkedIn URL, role, organisation and statement are processed to perform this agreement (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). Declined or withdrawn applications are kept for 12 months; the application behind an active contributor is kept while the access exists; records of revoked access are kept for 24 months. You may exercise your data-subject rights through the account privacy page; erasing your account ends contributor access.

6. Changes

When these terms change materially we will ask you to accept the new version before your next request. The version you accepted is recorded with your application.
